Delaney Ciccolella
Receptionist
Delaney is our receptionist at our law firm with a passion for the intersection of law and human behavior. Holding dual Bachelor Degrees of Art in Law/Justice and Psychology from Auburn University, Delaney is committed to expanding her knowledge and pursuing a future in law. With a keen interest in both legal principles and psychological insight, she plans to attend law school in the future to further her expertise and career.
Outside of her professional role, Delaney enjoys hiking with the beautiful nature scenery that Huntsville has to offer as well as doing arts and crafts in her free time.

Kandy Huelsman
Senior Legal Assistant to William Johnston, Jr
Kandy has been a valued member of Johnston, Moore & Weston since 1999, beginning her career with the firm as a real estate closer and legal assistant. It wasn’t long before she became the dedicated legal assistant to founding partner William Johnston, Jr—a role she’s held with loyalty and excellence ever since.
With a solid background in real estate closings, paralegal work, and bookkeeping, Kandy plays a crucial role in keeping Mr. Johnston and his family’s various business ventures running smoothly and efficiently. Her attention to detail, deep institutional knowledge, and unwavering dedication make her an indispensable part of the team.
Outside the office, Kandy enjoys spending quality time with her longtime husband, Kurt. She loves traveling, golfing, boating, and starting her days with a workout and breakfast among friends. A sun-lover at heart, she’s happiest in warm weather—and never misses a chance to spoil the Johnston family children as if they were her own.
Kandy is deeply loved by her colleagues and respected throughout the community for her warmth, professionalism, and years of service.

Sherika Norwood
Legal Assistant
Sherika is a dedicated legal assistant at Johnston, Moore and Weston. Sherika earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Alabama A&M University in 2010. Following her undergraduate studies, she earned a Masters in Public Health Degree from Walden University in 2014. Sherika has experience in the mental health field, where she advocates for individuals who suffer from mental illness, making her a compassionate representation to our firm.
Outside of her professional role, Sherika is a devoted and loving mother to her daughter Mikayla. Her daughter inspires her dedication to her work. Sherika is also a member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, incorporated, where she commits to various community service projects.

Katie Levy
Legal Assistant
Katie is a Huntsville native and has been working at JMW since 2021, serving as an experienced legal assistant. Her main areas of law include criminal, social security, probate, and other civil matters. She went to Auburn University for Elementary Education, but quickly learned that she had a passion for law. Katie takes pride in ensuring that she provides the necessary support to help attorneys achieve their objectives, and fosters strong relationships with clients.
In her free time, she likes to hang out with friends and is the captain of her kickball team.

Anyston Belt
Legal Clerk
Anyston Belt serves as a legal clerk at Johnston, Moore & Weston where she supports the firm’s work in family law, personal injury, criminal defense, and juvenile dependency matters. She is currently in her final semester at Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law and is expected to graduate in May 2025.
Anyston assists with legal research, case development, and client communications, contributing to the firm’s commitment to high-quality legal representation. With a strong commitment to justice and client advocacy, Anyston’s long-term goal is to not only offer high-quality legal representation, but also empowers individuals and families to navigate difficult circumstances with dignity and confidence. She aspires to create lasting positive impact in the lives of her clients through dedicated, empathetic, and solution-oriented legal work.

Wendy Martin
Senior Litigation Paralegal & Case Manager
Wendy has worked with the firm since 2021 and serves as the primary paralegal for managing partner, Christopher Weston. After graduating from K.D.S. DAR High School, she received her AAS in Applied Science – Computer Information Systems, but decided that computer programming was not her calling. She then earned her AAS Paralegal degree from Wallace State Community College.
Wendy is a dedicated and seasoned litigation paralegal with an impressive 33 years of experience in all aspects of law. Throughout her extensive career, Wendy has developed a deep understanding of legal procedures and case management, excelling in areas such as law office management, case preparation, legal research, document management, drafting legal documents, managing the discovery process, trial preparation, and client relations. With expertise across various practice areas, including personal injury, domestic relations, civil, workers’ compensation, mold litigation, and business law, Wendy has supported attorneys in high-stakes cases and complex civil litigation, ensuring every detail is meticulously handled and prides herself on fostering lasting relationships with her clients. Known for her strong work ethic, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and ability to adapt to evolving legal environments, Wendy continues to be a trusted and invaluable asset to the firm and to the legal community as a whole. Wendy has a passion for the law and a deep commitment to providing efficient legal support to ensure that her clients receive the highest level of quality legal service.
Wendy was born in Huntsville, but has lived her entire life in Grant on a large farm. She has one child and two grandchildren who affectionately (and appropriately) call her “Sassy.” In her spare time, Wendy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, painting, singing and attending craft shows and festivals.

Shauna Hill
Director of Operations
Shauna joined Johnston, Moore & Weston in 2023, bringing over two decades of experience in business operations, ownership, accounting, investing, and title abstract work. As Director of Operations, she plays a key role in the firm’s day-to-day and long-term success by overseeing HR, accounting, financial analysis, office training, and strategic business operations. Her leadership ensures the firm remains innovative and forward-thinking.
A native of Toney, Alabama, Shauna holds a degree in Accounting from the University of Phoenix (2011). She is also a proud Ambassador for the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce, where she actively contributes to the local business community.
Outside of the office, Shauna is a devoted wife and mom to three boys and four beloved pets. She enjoys traveling, exploring history and culture, attending her children’s sporting events, and creating lasting memories with her family. She is also a real estate investor with a passion for helping businesses and individuals grow and thrive.
