Mickey is a third generation native of Madison County, married to the former Amanda Downs, who is also a third generation native of Madison County and an attorney. Prior to entering the law practice, he was an intern with Judge Joseph L. Battle and a runner at a local law firm. At law school, he assisted in forming the Jones Law Review, which became the Faulkner Law Review. With over 25 years of practicing law, Mickey is dedicated to helping people in their more difficult times in life when they go through a divorce, seek to modify a divorce, address custody of their children, or carrying out the final wishes of a deceased loved one. He is also active in his church, Harvest Baptist Church, serving as an ordained deacon and on various committees, and signing in the choir.
